High......Green, green, grass of home

This is for Once Upon A Sketch (first two lines of journaling from song). This was a hard lo to do, been wanting to do one, and this challenge encouraged me to do it! I had to have my best friend, and companion of 17 years put down 3 weeks ago, and it was by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Her nickname was "High", so that's where the title came from! (She sold alot "higher" then we wanted to spend, but bought her anyway....hence the nickname High!!) When my mother passed away a few years ago, one of her request's was to have a family friend sing "The Green, green, grass of home" by Johnny Cash, so I thought that would be appropriate for this lo. The picture of High was taken at a show where she won it all!! I love that pic of her! I made it black and white to stand out againest the papers I used, which are some older ones from my stash. I did a bunch of cut work, and distressed all the papers too. Thank you for stoppin' by and takin' a look at High! Teresa*
