Stand By Your Man....

I did this lo for the site "Scrapping To the Music", where every week they come up with a new song, and you do a lo to go with it!! It's so much fun!! This week is the Blues Brothers, "Stand By Your Man" and I did the verse of "Stand by your man, and tell the world you love him"! It was fun and very challenging!! I used some world map paper for the "world" circle behind pic! Then I made my hearts to go Around world, ran some music ribbon through my hearts, added some cherubs, a piece of music paper tied with the music ribbon, and lastly, had a heart coming out of torn paper to indicate "bursting" with love!! Really makes you put your thinken' cap on!! Was alot of fun!! And I never put one flower on this either, and I think it looks romantic!! Who knew!! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

New Home

My son and daughter in law just purchased this new home!! I think it's so pretty!! I've only seen the pics so far, will help them move in a couple weeks, so I'll see it then!! I do know it has granite counter tops, a jaccuzi tub, and all kinds of goodies!! I've seen all the pics, cannot wait to see it in real life!! This lo was fun to do! Went through my stash and found some fun old papers! BG, Prima, Wild Aspapragus, and another BG!! I even cut some of the trees out of the old BG paper, and the flower out of Prima!! And thanks to "PaperJunkie" I used my old flower stamp to stamp and cut out some flowers! I used to do that alot, but kind of got away from it, till I saw her cute lo's the other day with some stamped cut out flowers, encouraged me to find mine, and get with it!! I really distressed the papers on this, and stamped and cut out the title too! I also made those little circle flowers, just love them!! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

Always And Forever

My son was married here this summer...it was a beautiful outdoor wedding, which I will always treasure!! I wanted this lo to look really vintage and old, so I tea dyed the lace around the perimeter of the lo, added some lace, really distressed the papers with ink and tearing techniqes, made the hearts, stamped, painted, and cut out the bird. I also used the new BG Porcelian line of papers, absolutely love them! They look vintage!! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

Why........(Zva line)

This is my grandson sitting on their little foot bridge this summer when they came up to their cabin to stay! Looks like he is in some deep thought too!!! I used the new line Pocelain by BG, and the Zva line too!! The crystal flourishes, flowers tucked in corner, and the crystals on the hearts and butterfly are the Zva line! Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!

Christmas 2008

This was done for my friend's baby album! I actually did it like the lo I had done for myself, just changed the paper's and embellie's! Sure is a cute family!!! Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!

The Boys!

This lo was inspired by the "vine" that I recieved from my friend "StarSailorScrapper" from SB, she made this for me!! Isn't it awesome!! so when I made this lo, I did not want to take away from this wonderful vine, so I did not add too many embellie's!! These are my two grandson's standing on an old fallen tree up at their summer cabin!! I love that pic! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

Liz

This was my daughters Mastiff, Liz. She lost her recently, and I did this lo in her memory. Normally I ink all my edges of paper, but this time I used my white paint, and literally painted every edge of surface, including all my cut pieces! Time consuming but worth the effort I think. Thanks for stoppin' by!
