Easter Card !

I have been seeing so many cards that have had "gauze" added to them, and I think it looks so cool, I decidied to give it a shot! One of my fav artist's is Camilla, and she does some amazing work on her cards using gauze........so this is my try at it! I wanted to make it different then alot of them, so I layered and distressed papers & gauze, cut out the centers, added Tilda and her rabbit to inside of card, then used a layer of gauze over the top of opening! It's so cool in real life......I took a bunch of pictures to try to give you a good look! Was so much fun.....I made bows out of the gauze.........fun to do! This is for Magnolia Down Under(Heavy Metal-there's a metal frame with jornaling & a small locket hanging from flower),ABC DT challenge(Easter Card), Paper Sundaes(spring blossoms), A Spoonfull of Sugar (Easter). Weaved Easter Basket!

This was fun.....but very time consuming!Remember when we were kids in school, and we weaved paper to make baskets.........exactly what I did here! I cut strips, then weaved them together to make this basket! I used the new My Minds Eye paper, love the "spring" colors in it!! I also cut strips of white paper and folded them for the inside of basket! I colored Tilda with my distress inks, added some flowers and punched leaves! I also added some white seam binding around edge for a finishing touch! I also added a paper lace border I made with my MS punch! Made the handle with that same punch! This is for Just Magnolia monthly challenge(anything goes), Creative Stamp Friends(Spring), Dutch Magnolia Lovers(anything goes). Thanks so much for stoppin' by and taking a peek! Teresa*

Shabby Tea Room!

This is for the challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room! We were given a photo as inspiration, and this is what I came up with! It's rare for me not to distress my papers, but tried not to do very much of it on this card! I used my Sizzix for some of the embellie's on this. Added a few flowers, and there you have it ! Thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin' a peek! Teresa*

Mother's Day!

I love this paper, the colors are so bright and cheery! It's from My Mind's Eye. I added a matching colored bow, thought it went perfect with the colors! I distressed the papers, and used the sketch provided over at "Lovely hAnglar Only"! I added some pretty little flowers, punched some leaves, and used my sizzix for the journal tag! I also added some Pearl bling up in corners that were part of the sketch! This is also for
Creative Inspirations(Mother's Day)! Thanks so much for stoppin' by! Teresa*
