The Gift....

This is for Once Upon A Sketch, using the sketch provided. The theme was also "Birthday", and this is a picture taken many, many years ago when we threw a surprise birhtday party for mom. She was very surprised too. And to all of us, she was the "GIFT" to us!!! I layered and distressed all the papers, using Pion Design papers. They are all light colored so I had a hard time getting a good shot! I added lots of butterflies, layered those too! Friends....

This was an attempt to make my "snow tex" look like suds of sea water......and I'm happy with how it looks!! I drew the pileings (posts) from hand, used distress inks on them and Edwin. I layered and distressed all the papers and used the sketch from "Stampin' For the Weekend".  The  friendship & fancy flod is for Simply Magnolia. I also added clouds for Totally Tilda! And the water theme is for Magnolia-licious Highlights. I used this Edwin, because he looks like a sailor to me!! And because I have doubles of the pileings, clouds, and waves this will be in Magnolia Down Under too! I also tied "rope" to the pileings to make them look more realistic. Totally Tilda (pink princess Tilda), Stampin' For The Weekend (layers).. I used sketch from Magnolia Down Under, layered and distressed all the papers, made the rolled roses, stamped and cut out leaves.

Chicks...

This is for Creative Scrappers and ScrapFriends (flipped the sketch) using the sketch provided! Turns out both sketches are very similiar, particularly when I flipped the sketch at ScrapFriends! And these are pictures of my baby chicks, and one that is 2 months old!! They are just fun to watch! They come when I call them, and I have even named a couple!! I layered and distressed all the papers, did some cut work, added some pearls too! Thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin'a peek! "Piggy"

This is for Sketchabilities, using  sketch-#70  provided. And this is Dorothy........and the paper from Graphic 45 was perfect for this lo!! If you click on pics they become larger, look at the close up of her, last picture........see the "GREEN" all over her???? Well........our neighbor came over and left the back gate open to pasture, and if you have horses and dogs.........you KNOW what they love to do.......find a "FRESH" pile of manure and roll in it!!!! And that's exactly what that little sweetie did!! It took two bathes to get that off her!  I did a ton of cut work, layered and distressed everything, made the title letters and banners. Instead of butterflies that were in the sketch.....I used flying Pigs, and added wings to Dorothy too!! Fun little lo to do.......hope you get a kick out of it!! Journaling is around cut papers! 3 Moms.......

This is for Once Upon A Sketch, using the sketch provided, and the theme of "mom"! This picture was taken years ago of my mom, daughter, and myself! Mom is gone now, and my daughter now has two boys, so there's three generations of moms in the picture, think that's pretty cool!! I used the sketch provided, it's tucked inside the cutout area! I did a ton of cut work on this, made the banner and title letters, doubled up on the butterflies, added some lace and a wooden clock, and did a ton of sewing around edges!
