Mohair handmade Mice and Bears!!!!

I stepped away from scrap booking for a short while, and did a little sewing!  I used to make Mohair bears a few years ago, and the other day decided to get out some things and do some "Mice"! I got the pattern off Pinterest, and have been having a ball making these guys! Made of Mohair, their eyes are glass from Germany, they are jointed so they are pose-able too!! I have made a few bears too, ( one is made of cotton newsprint material, which is really cool!) so much fun! hope you like them  and thanks so much for stoppin' by to take a peek1 Teresa*

Tea Addict......

Scrap Around The World February mood board colors!

This was very a very interesting challenge for me to do! I used white card stock for background, then I glued down some "burlap", then on top of burlap. I stenciled on a pretty design using a mask! I then added color with my distress inks, then using the sketch from Once Upon A Sketch, I did my design of the lo! I also journal-ed about my "addiction" to tea, which says, "I LOVE tea so much, I drink it all day long, literally! A "Tea Addict" does describe me!" I added some white washed chicken wire, made the banner under pic, layered and RAISED the background papers and embellies, then I splattered white paint about the layout! This is also for the color challenge over at Scrap Around The World, and pink is my favorite color, so this was the inspiration for the burlap, thought it would be pretty with the pink distress ink all over it! Plus, that touch of "orange" was an interesting challenge for me! Click on pics they will enlarge for closer view of burlap and stencil!! Hope you like it, and thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin'a peek! Tersa*

"Burlap" background card!!

I did so many things with this card!! I used white card stock for the basic card, then I cut and glued down burlap to top of card! then I stenciled on top of burlap, then added distress inks to stencil. I then layered and added paper, rolled roses, a clock, a lace heart, die cut leaves, tags, and some lace on top and bottom of center paper..........then on top of all that I splattered white paint! Whew!!! This is for the challenge at Thirst-Creativity_Sketch (using sketch shown above), Scrap Magic (color palette as shown in pic-pink-white-gold-black ,(small amount in mine), Assorti (chipboard -clock, lace and paint)  and for Free Creativity (hope my translation is correct- the challenge is "stratification", multi-layers of creativity). Thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin'a peek! Teresa*
