One Of A Kind

This is for Creative Scrappers using the sketch provided! I layered and distressed the papers, added alot of goodies too! This is my little black hen, and she is one of a kind! Loves people, she runs loose in the yard, and when you open the back door, doesn't matter where she's at, if she hears it, she comes running! She also has a scarf on for these pics! Christmas fa-la ornament.....

This is for a few challenges! Magnolia Down Under (fa-la-la-la), Tilda's Town (Merry Christmas). This was way too much fun to make! Will hang this from the tree this year! I layered and distressed all the papers, did some cut work on the little trees from my cabin stamp, made the larger one look 3-D, added some gauze, some pretty ribbon to hang it with, and made the middle look like the old fashioned ornaments! Fall colors....

This is for a few challenges.  Dutch Magnolias (chipboard & metal), Magnolia Stamp Lovers (spots & dots), Midweek Magnolias ( fall colors). Was a fun little card to make! The Election this year and a confession!

I have a little story to tell you and a confession of sorts. I am now 59 years old........and until this year, have never been a registered voter.......sad but true. In the years past, I never got involved in politics on any level. Never voted, wasn't registered to vote, just flat out did not get involved. I would sit back, watch my friends and neighbors, husband choose their candidate and vote. I did this every year, even four years ago when Obama was elected. I have to say though,when his Presidency was announced, I had an uneasy feeling about it. You know......when you're sixth sense says somethings just not right? Well that's what I was feeling, but I couldn't say a word, I lost that right by not voting. So, I kept it to myself. Now, four years later, our country is in an economic crisis, unemployment at an all time high, our fellow Americans (ambassadors) being killed, our Country is divided, his Obama care will literally "kill" our senior citizens,  and our President constantly telling lies to our American citizens...............I have now registered to vote; my soul purpose is to try and save our country from the wrath of this so called President. I know I only have one vote, but just maybe it will help! I am TRULY in fear for our great nation. I have never gotten involved in politics before.......but this is different, this is a true fear that something terribly bad is going to happen to us if he is voted back in. I pray that it doesn't, but again, the ole' sixth sense says it's going to be bad if he gets a second term. So, that's my confession........I am NOW a registered voter, and I am doing my best to try to help get Obama out of our White House! Thanks for letting me get this off my chest! Teresa*

Dark Colors........

This is for Saturated Canary (dark colors) challenge! I layered and distressed all the papers, I used a stamp for the Witch's Brew in middle!! Added a punched fence even has bats, added pearls, and a hand made flower!! Thanks so much for takin'a peek! Teresa*

Shaker Tilda......

This is for a couple of challenges! Magnolia Down Under (shaker card), and Deep Ocean challenge (anything goes). I had so much fun making this!  I love the xmas paper I used, and making the shaker part is so much fun! Sorry if there's a slight glare on the pics, acetate shows a little in some of them....and I also noticed a dark long hair on front of acetate after I took all the pics and loaded them.....didn't want to load more, so just left it!! I colored and cut the trees out of the cabin scene stamp ( I also made the big tree 3-D), I punched a ton of circles for the "snow" in the shaker! I added some lace and a die cut too!
