Happy Mother's Day.....

This is for the challenge over at Vintage Cafe Card Challenge (a picture that inspires us-and I even used pic on card), and Deep Ocean Challenge (fav colors).. I was so inspired by the colors and softness of the background in this pic, and loved it so much, added it to card! ( I have several pics such as this, I usually get off The Graphic Fairy, or another site called Free graphics.) I really distressed everything for a very vintage feel, added gauze and netting, pearls, rolled roses, die cut leaves, and the picture that inspired this card! Friends....

This is for several challenges...Magnolia Down Under (recycle-used cardboard, and some of the pearls were taken off an old card and reused), Tilda's town (I don't have stamps from once upon a time-so used this cutie), Magnolia Mania (pennant-banners), Creative Card Crew (handmade flowers, rolled roses are handmade), Tip Top Tuesday (say it isn't sew- my tip is using a good white gel pen for stitches-also white dots for Fairy, makes her come to life- and I also like to white wash the card to blend everything together), Stampin' For the Weekend (friends), and The Sketchy Challenge (using sketch). I layered and distressed everything, added fake stitches with gel pen, added some recycled cardboard painted white, made the pennant banner, made the rolled roses then white washed everything1 Thanks so much for stoppin' by to take a peek! Copycat......

This is for a few challenges, Midweek Magnolias (copycat- Becky's card from Wed. March 27, "My Fav. stamp), Marvelous Magnolia's (bling it), and Stamp & Create with Magnolia (ribbon & spring). I hope I did alright with Becky's card, it was so cute! I layered and distressed the papers though! Vintage Girl......(winner- ya-hoooo)

This is for the challenge over at Vintage Udfordring (the pic of vintage girl supplied). I LOVE that picture, so vintage and so much fun to work with! I used subtle colors on this one, distressed all the papers, layered, and raised things off card, added some lace, pearls, yarn and vintage seam binding! This is for the challenge over at Scraptherapy Sessions using the sketch provided! I used a color I don't normally use, but decided to try it! Like how it came out! I used the sketch,made the banners, added some stamped puppy prints, added some pieces of lace, and splattered some white paint! Click on pics they will enlarge for better view! This is for the sketch challenges over at Sketchabilities, and Creative Srappers (their sketch really close to the other challenge!)! Loved the sketch, and used our new puppy as the subject! I layered and distressed all the papers, added some textured dots,some washi tape, lace hearts, gauze, and made the banners! I raised the pieces pretty high off the lo. Mother's Day.......(this card got me GDT spot, ya-hoo)

This is for a couple challenges. Vintage Cafe Card Challenge (using sketch that was supplied-and I rotated it 90*) and Live & Love Crafts Challenge (bingo-cheesecloth-vintage-flowers). I layered and distressed all the papers, added some pretty roses, cheesecloth, and what I think is the most gorgeous picture, and some die cut leaves! The Journey Awakens the Soul.....

This is for the challenge over at Kraft It Up! The challenge is to use Kraft paper, and to use packaging of some sort! I used two of the package backings from Prima flowers (under pic), and if you look close at the banners, a few of them are also Prima packaging, in fact, right above picture, one of the flags on banner has the Prima emblem on it! I layered and distressed everything, splashed with white paint, made the stars from the "cardboard" in packaging, added some decorative tape, and a couple buttons! Laugh Out Loud.....

This is for a couple challenges! Paper Stories (using sketch-which I loved) and ScrapMemory (spot the difference - I added a "strip" of chickens and a cut out of a chicken to compare to the picture of my chickens!) I used my chickens as the subject! They are on the back deck looking in the French doors, hoping I'll bring them a treat, and wanting in! They are not your average chickens, they are really spoiled! I layered and distressed everything! Made the banners, added a couple rub on's, splattered some black paint, added chipboard stars, and added a couple little clothes pins!
