I tried to get good pictures, these were the best I could get. This is for Sketchy Colors. I used some off colors for this Valentine card for something a little different. I used one of my fav digi images, and I paper pieced their clothes. I stamped and did some cut work on the leaves. I also used the sketch supplied, layered and distressed all the papers too. This is for The Shabby Tea Room (Candy Hearts & Pink), The Pink Elephant (pink). This was inspired by ENCZOWO.....her work is amazing, and I like the 3-D effect she gives her leaves, so I thought I'd give it it a try! Was fun to do, but alot of cut work envolved! This is for Kraft It Up (Love- and pink)! This has a picture of my little dog Dorothy, and she was out in the snow digging tunnels! She had a ball out there! It was over two feet deep, so she would dig a tunnel, then pop up to see where she was! Was so much fun to watch! I have journaling on back of lo, which I sometimes like to do! I layered and distressed all the papers, used my kraft paper for the background. I added liquid pearls everywhere too! I did a ton of cut work on all the leaves, even distressed them, and added some dimension to them by putting a "fold" in them ( I saw this technique done on ENCZOWO's work, she's so talented!)I also did some sewing. Thia is for Once Upon A Sketch, The challenge was love for a male........I decided to do this one of my youngest grandson.......we have such an awesome bond, he is so close to me, it's amazing to me! We are so much alike too, he even loves to go to the scrapbook stores and the scrap conventions with me too! We love the outdoors, going on walks is a fav! I have a hidden journal tag under the long strip of paper! I layered and distressed all the papers using the sketch provided. I did some cut work, and I also added lots of tiny embellie's......butterflies, birds, tags. etc. I added a piece of Dusty Attic fence, and a bow. Wowieee...............I got to be a guest design team member at TOMIC, for this challenge, #35- Valentine Text & heart shape! I decided to make a card book, and this was my design! I layered and distressed all the papers, did some cut work too. I made the hearts, and in the big center heart cut out, I inserted some acrylic with a rub on too! On the inside I added some pretty flowers, a metal "Love" embellishment, some lace, and even some ric-rac around the edge! Tilda and Edwin are colored with distress inks! This is for the Teddy Bo challenge, Delightful Sketches(vintage distressed), Dream Valley(animals). I colored Bea in distress inks. I layered and distressed all the papers, added some pretty lace, a pretty corner piece, some hand made curled roses,a bow, and some cool vintage "twigs" Oh, almost forgot, there are some pretty litle pink, and white pearls added too!I also added a couple rub-ons to Beas pic, still not sure if I'm happy with the result, but they are there now!! This is for TOMIC......sketch & fabric! I used the sketch and the material I used was that cotton lace with ribbon laced through it. I also used two of my new stamps, and paper that I won from TOMIC!! Was an awesome prize! I love the stamps I won, and the papers and flowers are sooooo pretty! This was a fun little card to make! I first made the front of card, then I cut out the heart design, and slid some acetate in between papers to make a window for Edwin to look out! The images are colored with distress inks, and I also layered and distressed all the papers! I did some cut work on the branches around heart. Valentine Book Card, with cool little Angel!

This was a fun little card book to make! I love that little Angel.....isn't he just a kick!! He's colored with distress inks! I layered and distressed all the papers, made the "fake" pages with my MS embosser. I made the hinges using an old hinge as my pattern, these are made of black cardstock. I put stitching all around with my white gel pen.I put lace around the inside of the heart in front of card -which the heart also has acetate inside it to make it look like a window, made a couple of the hearts, and I made the lace trim around angel with my MS punch! Sorry for all the pics...tried to get enough so you could see the effect of the "suspended" snowflakes that I made!! I made this design....started with the idea of a candle card, and went from there! I suspended the flakes with waxed string, and added the candle, and it turned out pretty cool I thought! Makes a nice little gift card! Blue-white-and glitter!!!

This is for TOMIC (blue-white-glitter). I used stickles several places on the card. I also used some....tiny, tiny, tiny little "balls" on the top of the stocking!! I don't know what you call that stuff, but it's pretty cool! I glued it down using my flower soft glue! I like the looks of it, and would use it more if I would "remember" that I have it(he-he). I crotched around the little circle behind Tilda, I layered and distressed all the papers, added some pretty lace, and also layered and distressed snowflakes, with a couple trees set amoung them! This is for a couple challenges. Kraft It Up (colors...mine are really "SOFT" blue-green-red-yellow)and Sketchabilities. I have been wanting to do an 8 x 12 lo using my Prima tablets, and decided to do it with this challenge! The colors in the one tablet were very soft, but was able to go with the color scheme. I used my Kraft paper for the background, and also used it for circle in middle of lo, and on a couple flowers, also on the banner! Okay.......these are most definately hanging "Angels"! I used my fav Christmas stamp Tildas, added handmade angel wings to them with pretty see through ribbon hangers! I love how they look!! This is for TOMIC (decoration). I made the wings using shipping cardboard, then painted white, then added my snow-tex to finish them!! All Tilda's are painted with distress inks. I don't do tags very often, but Dutch Magnolia Lovers have a Christmas tag challenge going on, and Just Magnolia is white-snow-snowflakes- so this is what I came up with!! I wanted to do something a little different, so I used whites and soft colors. I made the Angel wings for Tilda from scratch (used my snow tex to cover them), layered my punched and distressed snowflakes. I painted that branch white(was brown),also added some white lace. This is for several challenges- Magnolia Down Under(lost & found-I found my fancy pants Xmas acrylic), Hanna & Friends(wintercard),Simply Magnolia(Christmas),
Magnolia Mania(oh Christmas tree), Magnolia Cards Challenge. I have looked and looked for my 12x12 piece of decorated acrylic from Fancy Pants, and finally found it! I decided to use it on cards instead of a lo, will get more use out of it that way! So here's the result! I layered and distressed all the papers(I even managed to cut the top paper where the "wishing you a Merry Christmas" is in the top right of card!), colored Tilda and tree with distress inks, made the distressed punched snowflakes with the cute little buttons in centers! This is for Once Upon A Sketch (The thing I look most forward to in December). I loved the sketch, had much fun working with it! The title is a tag tucked up under Dorothy's pic!! I have a tag with journaling tucked up under my hand crotched flower which reads: "The thing I look most forward to in December...Christmas and spending time with my kids-getting to decorate the house and Dorothy! But spending days with my kids - the BEST!!!" The song on my blog says it all.......I layered and distressed a couple papers, I made the heart and crotched flower,also the folded flower at top of lo. This is for Totally Tilda (white on white), and oh my goodness, that was a challenge!! It was so hard not to shadow things......I had to stop myself several times! But, I stuck to the challenge only did her flesh and hair, didn't even add any pink to her cheeks!! This is another candle card, so it's really pretty when it's lit....the white just pops!! I distressed all the papers, and there again "almost" inked them!! Wreath of Rolled Roses for Xmas......

I started "rolling" the roses for this wreath a couple weeks ago.....my plan was to make a "full" sized wreath, but it was taking way too long! Then when I looked to see what the new challenge was at Magnolia Down Under, and I saw Debbie's gorgeous wreath.....I changed my mind and decided to make just a small one!!(By the way......instead of using my patterned papers for roses, I used one of my scrapbook magazines...I like how the roses turned out even with the thin paper out of mag!!) I had just enough roses too! So here's my decoration for the challenge! This is also for The City Crafter Challenge(home for the holidays). It's small enough to even hang on tree if you wanted to!! This is for My Creative Sketches.....the 3rd one!! I was so very tickled when I won the first round, was so thrilled to have my lo chosen.....and that prize was AMAZING!!!! So this is the last round of sketches, and I am excited to see all the gorgeous lo's for this round!! My lo was made using pictures from our 4th of July camping trip! Just me and my two grandson's went!! We loaded up the trailer, bikes, dogs, and away we went! We had a ball!! I layered and distressed all the papers, did some cut work, some stitching, and even layered the pattern papers in sketch for lots of depth!! OMG.....I had an absolute ball making this! Really stepped outside the box on this one!! I wanted a "scene". so I made the window frame, I put clear acetate behind it, so looks real!! Then after I distressed window, I put faux snow all over it! I added tons of punched and layered snowflakes, lace, buttons, AND EVEN PUT A "CURTAIN" in the window using lace!! Tilda is done in pink distress inks, as is the cabin scene!I even did the inside up quite a bit!! Added paper lace, and more snowflakes!!I sure hope you like it!! I really wanted to make a "different" type of lo this time, so this is what happened!! I used my fav subject Dorothy, and Christmas pictures with her "Horns" on, the first Christmas I had her!! She was so darn cute!! I used my kraft paper for background, then added some matching Christmas paper! I used the sketch at
Get Picky, with multi-pics! I did the journaling (Kraft It Up)...really different too.........I cut it out, used pen to doodle around each word, then went around the layout with the journaling! I also made the title the same way!! Then, I puched out snowflakes and added them to the perimeter of the lo!! This was so much fun to do!! The Pink Elephant(embossing), This was alot of fun to make! I actually started with that center embossed piece of cardstock, and built the card from there! I added some pearls, punched snowflakes, some buttons in centers of snowflakes,added some stickles to their hats and bottom of dress, a circle sentiment, I made the heart, cuz I love Christmas.I wish I hadn't covered the embossed paper so much, it's pretty cool, I wiped over it with white paint, so the detail is awesome!!I added a little fence in front with my MS punch! This was a little tricky to do.....over at Totally Tilda it was Christmas with no red,blue, or green! So this is what I came up with. This is for Sketchabilities(#58), and Get Picky(#13)! I LOVED the sketch that was supplied for us at Sketchabilities, was so much fun to work with! I had fun coming up with the strips of paper and deciding on what papers to do my cut work on for the leaves! At Get Picky we were given a picture for inspiration, and I loved the colors of green, white, blue, and a slight touch of pink! So I used Dorothy as my subject, she's always game!! This was a FUN little lo to do for "Bird Is The Word" challenge! I've had these papers for awhile, and had that picture of Dorothy(my little terrier-like Toto)and myself, and wanted to do a lo using both, and this challenge was perfect for it!! That picture has a tree trunk beside us, just like where the hole was that Dorothy fell in.......so that's why I wanted the theme to be Wonderland!!!! I used most of the sketch that we were given if we wanted to use it, and I did, it was pretty darn cool! I really layered and distressed all the papers, did a ton of cut work, and cannot tell you how much fun this was! I made the title letters, and they are really layered alot too!In the left hand of lo instead of a tag like in the sketch, I used that hand instead....thought it looked pretty cool there, and it sticks out quite aways if you look at side pics you might be able to see! This is for My Creative Sketches (2nd sketch). This is one of my fav lo's I've ever done, because of the content of the lo. Journaling reads, " I didn't KNOW I was white. That's what my 7yr old grandson said at the breakfast table the other day. He looked at his hand and pinched his skin. He seemed surprised and confused. They have friends of all colors and do not discriminate or judge. Consequently, he had NO clue! Wouldn't it be nice if the "WHOLE" world were this way!" I think that children are our blessing for a BETTER world! I used alot of black and white papers on this lo, with that touch of light blue. I distressed all the papers, used that AWESOME sketch supplied to us, crotched that flower, made the hearts, and truly enjoyed making this. I sure hope you like it! At Kraft It Up, we had our choice of three styles, I chose "vintage-shabby chic", and I hope I got it right! I found a picture of my friends from back in "1969", taken with my "instant" polaroid!!!! Sorry the picture isn't too good of the girls, but back then, that was a good instant pic, he-he!!! I used the kraft paper as background, then added my vintage style papers! This is for Once Upon A Sketch and Get Picky! Fall is my favorite time of year, because of the colors and I get to decorate with my favorite decorations! I made alot of them, used to cut out and paint wood figures, and one of my favs is a quarter moon with detailed Halloween scene on it! The word for Get Picky, was celebrate, so it was perfect for this lo! This does have fall colors in it, but leans more towards Christmas!The red on the trees has the fall colors and so does the background papers. I wanted to make a different card, so I designed this card using two different techniques, and I think it turned out pretty cool! The top circle is open, and Tilda sits inside it! This is my first time at Kraft It Up and Bird is the Word. Kraft it up, we are to use kraft paper, sewing, and material on lo. So I used some material as a strip, did some sewing on it and around paper, and also on some of the other paper too. At Bird is the Word, the word is "share". So this is what I came up with. This is for Magnolia Down Under- wonderful, wonderful sketch over there, I love it! I couldn't decide what to do for sure, had two stamps I wanted to use.......so I ended up using both! How you say.....I used the rainbow as background, then colored and cut out the trees on my winter night stamp and added them to this card! I am pretty tickled with the result........I think it's a "cute" fit!! I distressed the images very lightly, didn't want the colors too dark. I followed the sketch, but added just a twist to it....put the banner below and moved tag and strip of paper to other side! Back To School Box Card...................

It took me a "whole" day to make this box card!! I had to first design the box, then I made the easel card to fit on top.....whewwwww!! Boy was it fun though! Those new Graphic 45 papers are in my fav color, so it makes me so happy to work with them!! The box can be used to store pencil's, or just about anything in! And if you look close at the easel card on top, you will see that it is a little "book", I made the card slant a little more of an angle as though it were on a shelf for you to look through!! Hope you can see it in the side veiws....that's why there are so many pics, wanted you to be able to see the whole thing!! The card will also fold up flat on top out of the way! I colored the Tilda's with distress inks, and even used one of my older stamps, cuz she's jumping rope as kids do!! I distressed and layered all the papers, made my curled flowers to match, made the banner, I used my new score pad to make the "book" papers, did some cut work, and also used my Martha Stewart punch for fence! I used distress inks to color him, distressed and layered all the papers, and actually used papers that i wouldn't normally use, and I love how it turned out....gonna have to do that more often, just throw some together!!!! I added some of Prima's buttons, with hemp tied through them. I also made some pinwheels and added those to the front, since flowers just were not going to work for this little fella!! This is for "Once Upon A Sketch". It's about an important year to me........of course my kids are the most important to me, and I have done so many lo's of them, but this year I lost my companion of 17 years, my little mare. We went to many, many shows and have some wonderful memeories of which I will never forget. So this lo is dedicated to her. The new line of Prima paper was perfect, it even had some horses on it! I distressed all the papers, did a ton of cut work,added lots of flowers including my rolled paper flowers which I dearly love. Back To School Book!!!!

I made this little "Back To School Book" using my new G45 papers, and they are all my fav colors, so ya just gotta know how much fun this was!!! I used Tilda, colored with distress inks, then added the new Prima buttons, made the banner using hemp, did some cut work too. On the edge of book, I punched some flowers, then added cloth covered brads over top of them. On the inside, paper made flowers again, more cut work, punched flowers and lace, and more of those awesome buttons! I also added some pearls to inside! There's also a stick pin on inside, I won that from The Ribbon Girl. This was soooooooo much fun, mainly because I love those papers! My all time fav colors.......(G45 always manages to make papers just for me) (he-he). This is fro TCR #73......colors are white-lime green-orange-red orange! This is what I came up with! I did the 3-D technique on the poppies to the left of lo! You can see the depth of them in the bottom view picture of lo! I distressed all the papers, used string for the poppy stems, made the banner, ,ade the title letters, and added some punched lace effect to some of the paper with my MS punch! This is for several challenges! Paper Sundaes(banner, buttons, twine), Crafts and Me(lace), Flutterby Wednesday(butterfly), Sketchy Colors(blue). Was a fun little card to make! I have had this stamp from sugar Nellie, but first time I've used it, I think she's pretty cute! I used my new G45 papers, Wizard Of Oz......I love these papers! I did a little cut work, made the banner and pinwheels, and added two layers of lace! I distressed all the papers, added two pretty little butterflies, and some pretty little buttons to the banner!Hope you like it, and thanks for takin'a peek! Teresa*

Butterflies galore!

I've seen a few cards similiar to this one, some with 3 different folds to it, some with just one side to it(like the gorgeous one Kylie did), I designed this one, just two folds, put lace all the way over top made with my MS punch, and I also made a sleeve for it. The sleeve closes in the back, I put velcro in back to hook it together, so makes card nice and snug when closed!
I used my new Prima papers on this, layered and distressed them all, also did some sewing! I've actually been sewing on almost everything lately, like the look alot! I added ric-rac, lots of butterflies,some pretty flowers, and colored Tilda with distress inks. This is for Magnolia Down Under(butterflies, and there's a bunch!) "Pip" and Sketch!

This is one of my new "Pip" stamps from Sugar Nellie! Isn't she just the cutest! I accidently got some of the dark brown distress ink by her eye, and could not remove it, so I added a little more and did the same to other eye, now she looks like she has on eye shadow!! This is for Pink Ink Sketch, my first time joining in on the fun! Looked like a fun little sketch, and it sure was! I layered and distressed all the papers, added some older flowers from stash, did the journal circle with stamp and punch,did some sewing(real),and added some butterflies! Remembering These Special Moments with You.....

This is for The Color Room # 72. This is the second lo I have managed to do of my friend and companion of 17 years, High! She was nicknamed that beacause she sold "higher" then we wanted to pay! I had to make the tough decision to have her put down, and it was by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Picture is of the two of us a few years ago at a show where she won everything! I miss her so. BTW.........I used my new Prima papers, did a ton of cut work, and the reason for all the clocks.....time ran out for us is what they represent. I think the colors in this new line of paper represent the color palete pretty well/ I sure hope you like it, thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin' a peek at High! Teresa*
